Facebook will pay an enormous $550 million fine to settle lawsuit.
Facebook’s “Tag suggestions”, a feature which uses face recognition software to suggest the names of people in users’ photos, led Illinois users to suit the social network for violation of an Illinois privacy law. Facebook agreed to a settlement by paying 550 million dollars to these eligible users. For more information click the link below.
